Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. Ashley Graham suffered from bullying regularly in school due to her large legs. She grew up with two sisters. She appeared on the "Glamour Magazine" article "These Bodies are Beautiful at Any Size". Graham became a media sensation when she was featured in Lane Bryant's controversial ad. The commercial was ultimately banned in several countries. She also appeared on "The Tonight Show" alongside Jay Leno to address the topic when it spiraled out of control. Graham quickly rose to fame, and today is considered to be one of the top American model models of the plus size category. Grande started singing and acting when she was young. In 2008, she got a role as a part of 13 on Broadway. Broadway production 13 shortly thereafter, and began playing small parts in television series. The first time she got a big breakthrough in the year 2010, after she was featured in Nickelodeon's television show Victorious. She played Cat Valentine, a teenager attending a performing arts school. Sam & Cat was the spin-off from her sitcom which was aired in 2013, after it was removed from the air.
